Right now everyone’s got Wolverine and Star Trek on the brain, but if you’re hoping to see Terminator Salvation on opening night, now might be a good time to start planning.

Terminator Salvation hits theaters on Thursday May 21st. Tickets for first showings of the heavily anticipated, fourth Terminator installment have just gone on sale. In particular I found them over at Fandango but they should also be selling at other online major ticket outlets soon. Right now the sneak peek midnight showings for the film are listed as being at 12:01am on May 20, though what they actually mean is May 21st. Just know that if you want to attend a midnight screening (and who wouldn’t… it’s Terminator!) you’ll have to look on Wednesday, May 20th.

It’s also good news for anyone who like me, isn’t a fan of the 7pm, pre-screenings as a substitute for a honest to god, fan-friendly, late-night, bleary-eyed midnight showing. You want to see Terminator Salvation early? You’ll have to lose some sleep over it. That’s the way it ought to be.
