Terminator Transported To New Digs![]()
According to The Hollywood Reporter, current and future rights to the Arnold trilogy have been bought for an unknown amount of money, believed to be in the eight figure range. The purchase was made by the newly formed Halcyon Company, a baby studio looking to launch themselves to the lofty heights of more established lots. Early rumors are placing a possible release date for a fourth installment of Terminator in early 2009. Aren’t you excited?
The real question is: does anyone really care anymore? I’ll admit that I enjoyed Arnold cutting his eye out as much as anyone else, but that was over ten years ago. Would anyone even want to see a Governor-less fourth movie? Thankfully for producers, I’m sure Edward Furlong isn’t doing anything, unless there’s a Detroit Rock City sequel in the making. I wish this project nothing but the best, but let’s just say that I’m more than skeptical. |
