Test Screening Reveals Tons Of Details About Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows![]()
Yes, technically it's impossible to spoil a movie when it's based on a book that virtually the entire world has read. But when it comes to each of the Harry Potter movies, there are always plenty of questions about how the filmmakers will condense the long books, what elements will be tweaked or changed to work better on film, and in the case of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, at what point they'll split the single book into two movies.
All of that and more have been answered months in advance of the first film's release, thanks to a sneak screening in Chicago this week. A canny viewer submitted tons of details about what they saw to The Leaky Cauldron, and while they were careful to say that the effects aren't finished and the soundtrack is still being recorded, they learned a lot about what we'll see from the first Deathly Hallows installment this fall.
