Texas Prequel Massacre

discussioncomments published: 2004-07-21 00:00:00 Author: Bill Beyrer
Fresh off the “success” of last year’s bastardizaion, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, it appears now that we will be graced with yet another incarnation of Leatherface.

Now will New Line Cinema and Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes remake, or worse reimagine, Tobe Hooper’s Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2? Hell no. This next Massacre we’re gonna see will be....a prequel. Sheldon Turner, who’s been tapped to re-write The Amityville Horror remake for MGM and Dimension, will pen the script.

The premise of the TCM prequel is said to center around group of sibling soldiers who cross paths with the Chainsaw wielding maniac.

Kill me the f**k NOW!!! I can deal with bad remakes. I can deal with the new prequel phenomenon. But making a prequel to a remake of AN ALREADY ESTABLISHED FRANCHISE?!!!! Gimme a friggin’ break. This sucks. ‘tis a said day. Yo, Michael Bay why not leave well enough alone and make something good and original this f**king century instead of doing mediocre sequels and war movies that suck moose penis, you friggin’ sloppy moronic dickbag!
