There is no porn version of The Dark Knight Rises yet, but with that unintentionally provocative title and the basic fact of porn-- if it exists, there's a porn of it-- it's only a matter of time. But let's be honest. For most of us when it comes to the porn parody of a given pop culture item, we don't actually wind up watching the porn, but just Internet clips and trailers of said porn. You get to laugh at the bad puns and the uncomfortable sight of characters you know starting to have sex with each other, but you don't have to engage much further than that.

Which is why the video parody newly posted on YouTube by Dr Cool Sex is the perfect common ground-- a trailer for a porn parody without an actual porn attached. There's just this incredibly silly trailer, featuring characters like Buttman and Scatwoman, all of them recognizable spins on characters we expect to see in The Dark Knight Rises (plus a few extras), making hilarious come-ons to each other. It's only two and a half minutes long and pretty much entirely SFW, believe it or not, so take a look below:



I guess you have to be into bad puns to enjoy this video-- "I'm so thorny!"-- but there are hilarious sight gags too, like Catwoman trying to kiss Bane through his weird mouth mask, or Commissioner Gordon-- in this cast, Commissioner Hardon-- licking his mustache and offering Poison HIV a mustache ride. Yes, it's incredibly silly and cheap looking, but it's hard to imagine the actual, inevitable Dark Knight Rises parody next summer will be any better.
