Ask anyone what they think of Jeff Bridges and their response is, almost inevitably, underrated. Though he’s worked in film and television for more than sixty years now, almost his entire life, and in the process created dozens of iconic, unforgettable characters… he’s never won an Oscar. It’s overdue. This year may the one.

Bridges is getting incredible buzz for his performance in Crazy Heart, a movie in which he plays a washed up country singer named Bad Blake. You’ve probably seen the buzz, but almost certainly haven’t seen the movie since Fox Searchlight hasn’t gotten around to releasing anywhere outside a small handful of cities. That changes this week. Fox has announced that they’ll start opening the film in new markets this Friday, and have provided us with a complete schedule of where and when the film will be opening.
