The Fighter And The King's Speech Lead The SAG Award Nominations image
The Screen Actors Guild, just one of the many groups handing out awards nominations in the last week or so, has announced their picks for the best performances and ensemble performances in film this year, with The Fighter and The King's Speech leading the pack at four nominations apiece, and Black Swan making a surprisingly strong showing with three nominations, including a Supporting Actress nod for Mila Kunis. SAG doesn't bother with nominations for anything but actors, so don't get upset about them snubbing Inception for cinematography or anything-- save that for the Oscars.

As always, there are some surprises, including a Best Actress nod for Hilary Swank in Conviction (a performance that has been recognized virtually nowhere else), including John Hawkes of Winter's Bone for Best Supporting Actor (an awesome, overlooked performance), and also Jeremy Renner of The Town popping up in Best Supporting Actor-- that film's Best Picture campaign hasn't gained a ton off traction, but Renner is by far the best thing about it and the nomination is well-deserved.

Check out the full list of film nominations below (via SAG's website), and read more about what it might all mean in today's Oscar Eye column later on.
