The Fourth Kind Featurette Wants You To Believe
Universal has released a brand new featurette for The Fourth Kind which seeks to answer the big question that’s on been on everyone’s mind since we first saw the movie’s trailer a few months ago. That question? Is the archive footage real?
The new Fourth Kind featurette claims it is, but only after also claiming that the existence of extraterrestrials has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, and only after throwing words like “absolute fact” in the direction of things which absolutely are not facts. But with The Fourth Kind, believing is half the fun. So while the new featurette doesn’t really answer the question of whether the archive footage in the film is the real deal, it does a pretty great job of providing your imagination with enough fodder for you to believe that it is without actual evidence. Personally, I’ll be disappointed if it is real. They’ve done such a slick job of putting this whole thing together I’d rather be impressed by what a great job they’ve done in crafting a fake than wowed by the discovery of extraterrestrials. Ok maybe not. Bring on E.T.! Here’s the new promotional featurette for The Fourth Kind: |
