The Hills Have Trailer![]()
I was surprised as anyone to actually find myself enjoying The Hills Have Eyes remake. The first such occurrence in the unhappy stream of regurgitated horror movies that we’ve been fed. Hills actually was half decent, sure it wasn’t perfect, it was pretty damn annoying in some parts, and it’s political commentary managed to be both muddled and obvious. But still it had some generally frightening moments, and it had one point of such supreme tastelessness involving a German Shepard and a wheel chair bound mutant with a huge noggin that I just had to giggle in glee.
So of course since it didn’t manage to completely suck the first time out the makers have come back to try and screw it up again this time without Alexandre Aja, the director who actually made the first one good. The new trailer for The Hills Have Eyes 2 hosted by IGN here doesn’t show any actual footage, which is never a good sign. But there is no denying that it's pretty badass in and of itself and the corpse eye view is pretty freaking creepy. |
