What would Home Alone be like if every character had a Twitter account? Now you can stop wondering and find out because The Home Alone Twitter project (via Slash Film) takes you through the entire film in real time through 23 Twitter accounts. Just a few minutes ago, Kate McCallister (@KateMcCal) was tweeting back and forth with Gus Polinski (@Gus_Polinski) trying to arrange a ride home to Chicago. Now, the Wet Bandits, Harry and Marv (@TallnCurly and @Harry_Lyme), are plotting their invasion into Kevin’s (@KevinMcCal) house.

When you think about it, there’s really no point to the whole thing, but if you’ve got some time on your hands, it’s pretty amusing to see the movie play out on Twitter. Some of the tweets even have pictures and videos.
