The Muppets Return On Christmas 2011![]()
We've been hearing about the Jason Segel written-James Bobin directed The Greatest Muppet Movie Of All Time for what feels like years now. Videos have popped up with our favorite Jim Henson creations singing Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and Carol of The Bells, though it has done nothing but make us crave a feature length film even more. Finally, we know exactly when we'll get one.
Disney says that the new film has officially been given a December 25, 2011 release date. The film, which will also star Segel alongside Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Animal and the rest, will now go up against the long awaited Spielberg film The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn and the latest from Cameron Crowe, We Bought a Zoo, which are both due out two days prior. Unless you are completely soulless, you're grinning like an idiot right now. The Muppets are one of the pure forms of good on this planet and more of them can only mean great things. I'm not saying that they could solve all of our problems in the Middle East, but one of Fozzie's "wocka wockas" could probably get the Taliban to throw down their weapons. |
