With the fedora-wearing, whip-cracking archeologist/professor back on the big screen, most have probably forgotten that there is another adventurer heading to summer theaters and that's Monkeybone's Brendan Fraser in The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor. While early reports were troubling at best, more recent news has been positive. We'll get our first chance to make snap judgments when the trailer hits directorRob Cohen's Mummy Blog this Friday, May 16, at 9:00 am Pacific Standard Time.
Production on the film is moving along -- including the school and other post-production whatnot. Cohen says that he approved the 400th visual effect and they are half done (yikes!). For those who want a better look at mummies, the trailer will also debut this week with the release of Prince Caspian.
