The Passion Of The Pope Who would’ve thought back in the 90’s that someday I’d hate Mel Gibson? I guess Lethal Weapon 4 should have given me some inkling, but even that couldn’t have prepared me for his abandonment of head-butting in favor of becoming the next Pat Robertson. What, you thought Mel was stopping with The Passion? You would be wrong.
Always quick to jump on the religious fervor bandwagon, Gibson is set to turn the life story of Pope John Paul II into a movie according to Dark Horizons and “The New York Post”.
