Kal Penn's career has been on the fast track since Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle, and I'm not talking about that crappy bit part Singer threw him in Superman Returns. Seriously, why'd he even bother?

Kal's schedule is loaded, in the next couple of months he'll show up as the leading man in not one, but two new major films. We told you about the first one, The Namesake a few weeks ago in our Trailer Trash column, but now the trailer for his second solo starring gig is here. Anybody remember Van Wilder?

Before he teamed up with Harold to hunt down tiny, tasty burgers Kal hung out with Ryan Reynolds in the college slacker comedy Van Wilder. In December the movie's getting a sequel, only without Ryan Reynolds. Instead, Kal's character Taj is taking front and center.

The first trailer for Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj has popped online. The bad news is that it's popped up on MTV's incredibly hard to use Overdrive web channel. To find the trailer, you'll have to click here, then select "MOVIES" from the Channel list, then click on MTV's "Newest Trailers" category and hope you can find The Rise of Taj in amongst all the invasive ads for Bring it On.
