The Social Network is a movie about the creation of Facebook, but what if the creation of The Social Network were told by Facebook? That’s the idea behind a hilarious post put together by Slate in which they detail the movie’s development in the form of a Facebook feed.

It begins with Mark Zuckerberg creating Facebook (after which he rests) and ends with Mark Zuckerberg forcing Aaron Sorkin to poke himself. Here’s a few hilarious excerpts:

Apparently Mark Zuckerberg and God work on the same sort of schedule.

Is Zuckerberg a closet Twilight fan? In case you haven’t heard Andrew Garfield, who played Saverin, is actually the new Spider-Man.

Payback’s a bitch. Read the entire hilarious feed over at Slate.
