The Twilight Saga Will Be Completed, Eventually![]()
Fans of The Twilight Saga are lucky in the sense that they never had to worry about whether or not they’d get to see their treasured franchise finish its run in the multiplex. As long as there are 14-year-old girls pining over pasty boys and irrational love stories, there will be an audience for anything pertaining to Twilight.
Robert Pattinson, otherwise known as the dream Edward Cullen, has confirmed this thesis with THR in a recent interview, stating that there will definitely be a film adaptation of the fourth and final installment of the Twilight book franchise, Breaking Dawn. Pattinson is currently filming the second movie of the series, with production on the third film set to begin in October. Production dates for the final movie have yet to be worked out, but one must assume that the studio will want to strike while the fan base is still hot over fangless faces and shiny skin. With Chris Weitz directing New Moon and David Slade on board to direct Eclipse, the big question will likely be which hip indie director will sell their soul next for a fatty paycheck and the love of black-shirted, greasy-haired tweens everywhere. It’s all up in the air at this point, but apparently Kevin Smith’s daughter loved the first flick. Hint hint? |
