The Wackness Comes To July![]()
I can’t claim to know much about The Wackness other than it’s gotten quite a bit of buzz from Sundance. It’m not intrigued by it enough to rush out and see it like I was last year by the SXSW reports of The Lookout, and I’m not a big fan of drug comedies, but it looks like it might be one of those movies to keep your eye on this year.
Keeping an eye on The Wackness just got a tad bit easier, as Sony, its distributor, appears to have settled on a release date for the picture. In an interview with Collider, actress Olivia Thirlby stated the movie is currently scheduled for a July 3rd release date. Thirlby is also probably a name to keep an eye on as well. The actress stars in The Wackness but also co-starred in Juno, drawing her a little bit of attention. She’s also quite cute. If she keeps picking winners, she may quickly find herself the subject of a lot of attention, and you can say you’ve been keeping an eye on her since Cinema Blend told you to. |
