Theatrical Trailer For Conan The Barbarian Remake Released
It's been a while since we last saw anything official from the Marcus Nispel-directed remake of Conan The Barbarian - nearly two months to be exact. It was back in early March that the first image of Stephen Lang in makeup as Khalar Zym and the teaser trailer showed up, but neither really gave us any sense of the movie. The first theatrical trailer is here to change that.
Set to be released on August 19, the film stars Jason Momoa, Ron Perlman, Rose McGowan, Rachel Nichols, Bob Sapp and Stephen Lang. In the film, Momoa plays Conan, a legendary warrior on the path of revenge after an evil lord slaughtered his entire village and killed his father. Facing off against other warriors and supernatural monsters, he crosses the continent of Hyboria, never losing sight of his mission.

Holy quick cuts, Batman! If I hadn't explained the plot of the movie above, would you have any idea of what the hell is going on in this movie based on the trailer? The whole thing is basically two minutes and fifteen seconds of people fighting and yelling. Some might argue that those are the two things that Conan does best, but I kind of have this soft-spot for character development and story. Perhaps I'm just crazy.
