Axe wielding mutants attack theaters in just a couple of weeks. The Hills have Eyes is coming, lower your expectations accordingly and you might be pleasantly surprised.

If you're in to gore though, you'll probably want to wait for its DVD release. The film was originally a brutal NC-17, and was edited down to an R to please the ever present MPAA. The unrated version on DVD should be just the thing for your gore hounds. The rest of us I think, will be pretty satisfied with good old rated-R.

To prepare for mountain mutants, Fox Searchlight has released some stylish new photos from the movie, featuring among other things, a dog. You just know that dog's gonna get it.
