Whenever someone mentions that there are other children in the Olsen family beyond Mary-Kate and Ashley, I can't help but think of this hilarious and gruesome Onion article about the "lost Olsen triplet Ethel." But, in fact, there really are two other Olsen siblings, and one of them apparently wants in on a little corner of her own fame. The Wrap reports that Elizabeth Olsen has been cast in the indie drama Martha Marcy May Marlene, along with John Hawkes, Hugh Dancy and Sarah Paulson.

And this isn't going to be some tiny little ingenue role-- Olsen will be playing a young woman recently escaped from a cult and living with her older sister (Paulson) and the sister's husband (Dancy). Olsen's screen experience is pretty limited at this point, having popped up in a few of her older sisters' films as a child and recently wrapped the indie Peace, Love & Misunderstanding. It's easy to assume that Martha Marcy May Marlene director Sean Durkin has cast her simply for the name recognition, but maybe she's got some acting chops hiding behind that famous-- and famously hammy-- family name.
