Thomas Jane is not, I repeat not, doing another Punisher movie. Even though he's reuniting with Punisher writer Tim Bradstreet for Devil's Commandos, which My Bloody Valentine 3D director Todd Farmer is co-writing with Bradstreet, the whole situation is a long, long way from Frank Castle.Farmer told Shock 'Til You Drop about the new project, which Jane will direct in 3D as well as star in. "Devil's Commandos is about a WWII commando unit sent on a rescue mission. Pretty straight forward. Except for the part where hell opens up and they have to fight Satan's army." Sounds pretty amazing, actually-- Call of Duty meets the finale of Hellboy 2! And speaking of Hellboy, Jane is actually doing a directorial test-run before taking this project on, directing Ron Perlman and himself in The Dark Country, which sounds like a pretty nifty horror thriller. Not sure how that leads you to battling the forces of hell, but maybe Perlman will offer some advice before Jane gets to the set.
