Tyler Perry is headed for prison with his next movie, Madea Goes To Jail, which will show his famed character behind bars, where she crosses paths with a kindhearted prostitute (played by former Cosby kid Keisha Knight Pulliam) in need of a little help. Three more have been added to the cast of Perry’s next flick, although none of them have the name recognition of Pulliam or Perry himself.
Blackfilm.com reports that Judge Mablean Ephriam (Divorce Court), Salli Richardson (I Am Legend), and Viola Davis (The Andromeda Strain) have joined Madea Goes to Jail. Ephriam will reprise her role as a judge from the previous two Madea pictures, Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Madea’s Family Reunion, while Richardson will play a district attorney and Davis will play a social worker aiding Pulliam’s prostitute character.
