Three New Posters For Inglourious Basterds

I hear from those who had read the screenplay that Inglourious Basterds is much more character-driven, and much less violent, than the trailer would lead you to believe. But the new posters for the film, revealed by Empire Online, sure aren't giving that away. They're just as violent, just as stylized, and just as stereotypical Tarantino as the trailer.

It's clear what they're going for with this movie-- it's glossier torture porn!-- but I wonder when the jig will finally be up. The movie may or may not be debuting at Cannes in just a few months, so maybe by then, they'll come up with an advertising campaign that says more than "There will be even more blood! BLOOD!"
