You know when you sit around with some friends and reminisce about the good old’ wild days of youth? The awesome party, the perfect girl, the milestone in the walkway of life. Most of the time, these memories are rarely recalled with any accuracy, thought they make for a good 5 minute story between friends. But for some reason, DreamWorks has decided to make a full blown movie about that kind of nostalgia, and they tricked George Tillman Jr. (Roll Bounce) into directing, said The Hollywood Reporter.

The story takes place at a massive house party thrown by high school students on the eve of graduation. The party gets out of control, the police show up, and the kids decide to assert their civil rights. Suddenly they're face with all their fears about growing up.

Penned by Jeff Roda, the script is based off David Amsden’s short story, “The Siege of Fulton Avenue,” which can be read in its entirety at The New York Magazine. Chances are this one will turn into a generic teen movie, instead capture the futile angst of Amsden’s story. Hurray for Hollywood.
