Tim Allen is making another horrible Disney movie. It’s called Brothers, and that’s probably all you need to know in order to avoid it if you want to stop reading right there.

If you’re still with me, then know that Variety says the movie is a comedy vehicle with Tim will co-write with Matt Carroll. Tim hasn’t written anything since… well actually he’s never written anything apart from standup routines… which he stopped doing in the early 90s. Whatever he writes, it can’t possibly be worse than the script for Zoom, or Santa Clause 3, or The Shaggy Dog, or Christmas with the Kranks, or… look the guy has been in an awful lot of shitty movies.

So this particular movie, Brothers, will be about a pair of racially mixed brothers framed for a crime and forced to work together, I guess to clear their names. And of course that generic, derivative plot is just about what you’d expect from a Tim Allen movie. It doesn’t look like that writing credit he’s getting is going to change anything for old Tim. He’s making yet another movie that sucks. Expect a lot of jokes about white guys being unable to dance and gripping ruminations on how funny the afro is.
