Imagine you had the kind of juice that allowed you to employ all of your friends, even in the harshest of times. These days, I’m sure your friends would be stoked that you could get them a job selling sodas at the local 7-11, but Adam Sandler’s friends have come to expect a little more from. He can hire them on to his movies as directors, writers, and especially co-stars.

Yet another of Sandler’s friends has joined the cast of Grown-Ups, the Sandler-penned, Dennis Dugan directed comedy expected to be released next summer. THR is reporting that Tim Meadows, Adam’s former SNL cast mate, has signed on to play an undisclosed part in the movie about several friends that get together 30 years after high school when their former coach passes away.

With Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, David Spade, Rob Schneider, and Norm Macdonald all already part of the flick, this looks to be the closest thing we’ll ever see to a 90s SNL reunion. While this isn’t exactly the SNL cast that most would want to see reunited, I’m not going to sit here and complain. As long as it isn’t Andy Samberg and his crew, I’m fine with it. In 15 years, when Samberg does this with his generation’s cast, I’ll be sitting on my couch, shaking my fist, and complaining about how I don’t get it.
