What does the amazing Spider-Man do after taking some much needed time off? He tries his hand at the darker side of life with the dramatic thriller Hungry Rabbit Jumps. Variety reported that Tobey Maguire will topline the thriller than has been described as in the vein of David Fincher's The Game.
Details about the film are scarce, other than production and finance company Endgame Entertainment is backing it. Given the company's track record of supporting films such as I'm Not There and Hotel Rwanda, it could be that Hungry Rabbit Jumps has more going for it other than being a The Game knock off. James Stern (I'm Not There) will produce along side Maguire and Ram Bergman (Brick).
Maguire has been busy since his Spider-Man stint, as he just wrapped the love triangle drama Brothers with Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman and has Tokyo Suckerpunch and Everything Changes set up with Columbia Pictures and Hot Plastic set up with Focus Features.
