Tom Cruise Gets Ready To Take A Big Step In Extended Clip From Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
While you can always look forward to the cool masks and epic theme music, the scene to get really excited about in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol is the one where Ethan Hunt, played by Tom Cruise, has to use sticky gloves to climb up the side of Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. I actually had the chance to see the scene in an IMAX preview back in October, and I can assure you that it will knock your socks off, especially in the expanded format. Now Paramount/Skydance has released a new clip from the movie that takes us up to the moment when Cruise performs his epic stunt.
Released as part of a "Flock to Unlock" campaign, you can check out the new preview below. While I know that IMAX theaters aren't available everywhere - the release schedule for The Dark Knight Rises prologue tells that story pretty clearly - if you can see Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol in a real IMAX theater you should. That first step out the window that Ethan takes will make you feel like you are right there with him, and you shouldn't be surprised when you start experiencing vertigo. Starring Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Paula Patton, Michael Nyqvist, Josh Holloway, Anil Kapoor, Tom Wilkinson and Lea Seydoux, the new adventure sees IMF agent Hunt forced to go underground when his team is blamed for a terrorist attack at the Kremlin. The movie will be released in IMAX theaters next Friday and will hit theaters nationwide on December 21st. For more info about the film, be sure to head over to our Blend Film Database. |
