Praise the maker! Bryan Singer is taking some time off from comic book movie adaptations to do something more interesting -- Valkyrie, which tells the story of German generals who plot to kill Hitler. You can’t go wrong killing Hitler; he’s the embodiment of evil. Every time you’re in an argument and want to make a negative point, which parallel do you bring up? That’s right, the Nazis. Speaking of Nazi, Tom Cruise will star in the picture, along side Dutch actress Carice van Houten (Black Book), who will play Cruise’s wife, reports Nu.nl.

The film will begin shooting in Berlin next month. Kenneth Branagh, Patrick Wilson, Stephan Fry and Tom Wilkinson are also starring in the picture. Hopefully, Singer’s project will breathe some life into Hollywood. Of course, you do have The Cruise to deal with. But you take the good, you take the bad. You take them both and then you have the Facts of Life.
