It looks like Tom Welling may soon be following in the well traveled footsteps of Michael J. Fox and Jason Bateman. He’s doing a Teen Wolf movie.
That’s the rumor being circulated by the good folks over at Dark Horizon. They say location scouts have been spotted lurking around high schools in Little Canada and that they’re looking for somewhere to shoot a Teen Wolf remake. Or… they’re just a vicious gang of pedophiles and when they got caught that was the first excuse that popped into their head.
Welling actually seems a little old to be playing Teen Wolf, doesn’t he? The Michael J. Fox character was a kid, and Fox has always been good at looking young. Welling no longer looks like a teenager, he’s kind of past that place, or at least he should be. ‘Smallville’ is already turning into 90210, maybe Welling should be looking for a part in a Buffy the Vampire Slayer remake instead.

Im always a skeptic when the choose a pretty face (ie a model) to act ina role but Welling impressed me when he started Smallville. I also dont blame him for the series starting to suck about 3 seasons back, but he can only save so many lives and meet so many Superman characters before he HAS to become Superman. Anyway, I think Welling has potential but he needs to fire his freaking agent and find someone who can get him into a role he can sink his teeth into. I think his character was good, albeit underdeveloped, in CBTD (although a bit better in CBTD2)... lets give him a shot... then in 5 or 6 years cast him in a Superman movie as *gasp* SUPERMAN.
I think that Tom Welling is a great actor and Smallville just keeps getting better every episode. I love watching "Superman" grow up and seeing all the things that may have happened in his youth. I am also a gig marvel nut so many may not share my point of veiw.I thought that The Fog was a great movie. He played an excelent role and played it well. I also liked the Cheeper by the dozen movies. I was only dissapointed that his roles were not bigger. I think that it would be very stupid to make a teen wolf movie with a girl being teen wolf and Tom being the co-star but I think that whatever role he is given he will make it great.
This man is a fantastic actor. He's great in Smallville! A previous post is correct - he needs to fire his agent and find someone who can get him into the roles he deserves! I will quit my job to become his agent! Clark Kent is a perfect role and he deserves great roles in the future!! The world is his oyster.
I think that sarah is right. tom welling deserves good movies because he is a great actor. he is able to find better rols and movies that make him more famous and to jump to the big screen. I love him.
tom welling is my favorite actor and i think he is so cute!!! anyway i like his acting in smallville i have almost every season, but i think he should do a movie that makes him more noticed so that more people can see how good looking he is and how good of an actor!!
Tom Welling is proving to be a fine actor, he seems to put his heart into the roles he does accept. I would enjoy seeing him doing more roles as diverse as possilbe. I think he is become one of the finest actors of today for both the Big and Small screens. I also like that you don't see him on the cover of those rag tag mags in the stores. He is a real hero in my book. From what I have read and seen of Tom, he has had a positive affect on the viewers. And that is just what we need today.
I agree with cody on that one. he's very talented to. and yes he's one of my favorite actors as well.. a big fan. i'm looking forward for a Teen Wolf remake. I love the original. i sure hope the remake will be good as the original to.
This sounds like it would be a great remake! Tom Welling is a great actor and him being the Wolf in College would be good but in high school is good too! Cant wait for the movie!
