The trailer for Tooth Fairy contains all of the things we’ve come to expect from The Rock’s horrible family friendly movies. He plays a famous sports figure of some type, he encounters cute kids who teach him a lesson, there’s magic/alien powers/fate involved somehow, and of course the trailer’s soundtrack is powered by the most cliché movie trailer music imaginable. But it also has Billy Crystal, Julie Andrews, and brilliant Ricky Gervais cohort Stephen Merchant. Maybe there’s something here worth seeing.
