At Comic-Con last month after seeing the footage for Iron Man 2, I ran around the main hall frantically looking for a place to plug in my laptop (which had run out of juice just about 20 seconds before the panel) to jump online and describe War Machine in detail. It was stressful, frustrating, but apparently unnecessary. A drawing would have sufficed.

A couple of days ago, it was revealed that Timothy Dalton would be playing a character named Mr. Pricklepants in the upcoming threequel to Toy Story. Now ComingSoon.net has a picture of Dalton’s character. Kind of. Unable to take pictures or video of the new trailer shown at D23, ComingSoon.com’s Silas Lesnick decided to sketch up a quick “interpretation” of the character on a piece of paper. While the drawing isn’t Disney quality, it certainly helps to get an idea of the character, who looks exactly like what you think a character named Mr. Pricklepants would look like. He’s prickly. And he has pants.

But as with all Pixar characters, I’m sure the animators were able to bring layers to Pricklepants’ design that we could never imagine, things that even learned artists like Silas can’t recreate. Still, Silas deserves a hardy high-five for thinking of a loophole that the rest of us overlooked. Good on you, dude.
