Toy Story: Euro Vacation

discussioncomments published: 2004-12-20 00:00:00 Author: Joshua Tyler
Remember the impending third Toy Story movie that Disney will be making without Pixar? Well, it’s being written by James Herzfeld who also had his hands in the unexpectedly well done Meet the Fockers. While promoting the film, he had a few words for a site I still don’t understand, IESB.net on Toy Story 3.

According to Herzfeld, he just handed in his script and expects the film to hit theaters some time in the next three years. He hopes it’ll be with the original cast in tow, but then so does everyone. Everyone except me who hopes they all turn it down and the film crashes and burns to teach Disney a lesson about co-opting properties from Pixar, legally or otherwise.

In one moment of particular horror, Herzfeld hinted that his script may have the Toy Story gang following in the steps of Chevy Chase by heading over seas for a European vacation. I can’t wait to see Woody do a rousing impression of the French.
