Trailer: Everything Falls Over In 2012![]()
Roland Emmerich’s next disaster movie, 2012, seems to exist in a future where everything just sort of falls over. The film’s first trailer is a marked improvement over the teaser, which showed a few monks drowning. This time, it’s explosions and earthquakes and collapsing buildings right up until the very last moment when an aircraft carrier named John F. Kennedy falls over on the White House. Oh and there’s John Cusack and Amanda Peet, trying to drive faster than the end of the world.
Emmerich’s last few movies have been a waste of time, but maybe, just maybe he’s returned to form with 2012. Watch the trailer below, or in high-res at Yahoo with a special intro by Roland Emmerich.
