Ben Stein’s new intelligent design propaganda movie Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed made a minor plop in theaters this past weekend. Even though it was savaged by critics (whom conservative voting blenders assure me are by and large, all liberals), it did manage to squeak into the weekend box office’s top ten and that, it seems, was enough to earn it a sequel.
Apparently Stein is already hard at work on the movie’s follow up, and in fact the film’s first trailer has just leaked out on the web. It’s called Sexpelled: No Intercourse Allowed and it examines the highly controversial “Avian Transportation Theory” and the way in which brave scientists who dare to question its validity have been ostracized by the scientific community.
Here’s the trailer, watch it for yourself. Does Ben Stein have another minor hit on his hands?

You support supressing the truth? If your going to present theories then present all of them and let the student make an intelligent, informed decision. Otherwise, goosestep on commrade.
Who cares what he says, that has to be the most ridiculous picture ever. I mean WOW he is just so hip and trendy with his popped collar and rolled up sleves, and that megaphone which he uses to blast half misconstrued out of context interviews. I would cross my arms a shudder to if i was in competition with real documentary films.
There's a simple question we need to ask: do we teach science in our science classrooms, or not?
Evolutionary theory is science. It has been tested and re-tested over the last 150 years, and has mountains of evidence to support it.
Intelligent Design is not science. It has no theory, It has no evidence. It is nothing more than Creationism with the serial numbers filed off and a new coat of paint.
So, are we going to teach our kids (who, by the way, will need to compete in a global marketplace where kids from China, India, and other developed countries are getting a lot more education than ours) science, to prepare them for 21st century life?
