One thing you absolutely will not see in the first trailer for This Is It is any mention of Michael’s death or for that matter any of the controversy surrounding his life. This isn’t that kind of documentary. The trailer and by extension it’s probably safe to assume the movie, seeks to be a celebration of Michael’s music and also whatever it was that people saw in him as a person that was good.

Focus on the final concert tour Michael was putting together before his death, the documentary puts together never before seen footage in a neat, brightly colored packages. For fans, it’ll be a way to buy a ticket and celebrate the man one last time. For everyone else, well he did have some pretty big hits.
