Remember when we told you that Will Ferrell was making a Spanish language movie, and that seemed so ridiculous there was no way it could be true? It’s true, it’s done, and here’s the proof. The first ever trailer for Casa de mi Padre.

First uncovered by the lovable dudes over at Gordon and the Whale, this trailer is everything you could ever hope for in a Spanish language Will Ferrell movie. Actually, I have no idea what that means. But it’s true. Watch:

Casa de mi Padre stars Will Ferrell as Armando Alvarez, a man who has lived his entire life working on his father’s ranch in Mexico. Trouble starts brewing when Armando falls in love with his younger brother’s (Diego Luna) fiancée. Gael Garcia Bernal shows up in there as a Mexican drug lord, and apparently there’s a lot of slapping followed by some gunplay.

This will either be Will Ferrell’s crowning achievement, his The Jerk, or it’ll be the worse than that one with the Sleestacks. I foresee no middle ground here. For now, I’m completely on board. How about you?
