Trailer: Journey To The Center Of The Earth 3D Here’s the problem with Disney’s Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D: It looks like it’s more interested in being 3D than it is in being Journey to the Center of the Earth. The film’s first, full domestic trailer is here and it’s jam packed with bad CGI, awkward acting, and a lot of lame moments in which things jump out at the camera in order to show off the movie’s super cool 3D effects.

Didn’t that kind of gimmicky 3D stop being popular some time in the 80s? It’s no wonder 3D continues to have a bad name. Today’s better 3D movies use 3D to suck you into the movie, not jar you out of it with cheap, third wall breaking thrills. You’ll see what I mean, if you just watch the trailer below:
