The first trailer for The Secret Life of Bees is here. No, Jerry Seinfeld is not involved. This particular bee movie stars Queen Latifah, Jennifer Hudson, and Dakota Fanning in a period piece about a black family who takes in a white runaway, and is subsequently punished for it. The trailer isn’t all civil rights violence though, mostly the women involved seem to live an idyllic existence far away from the civil rights troubles of the world, caring for bees and earning their way by selling honey. Dakota Fanning looks slightly growed up, and seeing them together seems to confirm that Jennifer Hudson and Queen Latifah are in fact, the same person.
