Transformers 3 Possibilities: Yes To Mini-Cons No To Unicron

By Josh Tyler: 2009-07-22 15:31:56
Transformers 3 Possibilities: Yes To Mini-Cons No To Unicron Now that the second movie is mostly out of the way, it’s time to talk Transformers 3. Rotten Tomatoes caught up with Transformers producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and pelted him with questions, most of which he dodged while calling anyone who didn’t like the second movie names and pretending that critics hated the first movie as much as the second one, even though they didn’t.

Amidst all of that he did drop at least a few hints as to what his personal preferences for the third movie might be. For instance he’s afraid of Unicron and doesn’t like the idea of bringing him in for Transformers 3. On the other hand he has a real thing for the Mini-Cons, which as their name suggests, are miniature transformers. Of course they’ve sort of already covered that haven’t they? The third movie is absolutely swimming in miniature, microscopic, and knee-high humping robots so what’s the point?
