Transformers Music Video Gets Emo But Shows Off Awesome New Footage![]()
I haven’t listened to Linkin Park since their first record came out, so I’m not sure when they started making weepy songs like the one in this Transformers: Dark of the Moon preview video. Clearly whoever decided to slap this together took aim at a demographic normally forgotten about by the rest of the Transformers marketing team: people looking for any sort of emotion in their giant robot action films.
Nevertheless, despite its attempt to be touching and drastic overuse of slomo, the preview shows off a decent amount of new footage from the June 29th release for you to gawk at, as long as you’re not too distracted by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s ability to do nothing but pout aggressively and be held by Shia LaBeouf. Ultimately the footage remains pretty rad looking; this type of marketing however is just not my taste. Scope it out below and see what you think. |
