Transformers Stomps 4th Of July![]()
Transformers had an even bigger day of earning in its second day of release. Box Office Mojo reports that Michael Bay’s giant freakin robots movie made a whopping $29 million on the fourth of July.
That $29 million gives Transformers the third biggest Wednesday take in history. It’s beaten only by Spider-Man 2 and Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. Pretty stiff competition. The movie already earns the record for the biggest ever Tuesday gross, earned the day before with its $27 million take. For anyone who didn’t think giant, transforming, CGI robots would sell… whoops who are you? Michael Bay’s movie owns the box office right now, and will likely continue to do so for the next week or so. |
