Of all the incredible scores that were produced for films last year, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' work on The Social Network ranks at the very top. Beautiful, dark, moody and with a hint of electronica, it was a perfect fit for David Fincher's film. Lucky for us, Reznor and Fincher are teaming up again. Reznor is currently speaking with The New York Times as part of their TimesTalks series and Twitter user @Brotodeau caught the news that the Nine Inch Nails front man will be providing the music for Fincher's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, which will be released this December.

Fincher's history with Reznor's music actually goes all the way back to 1995 when the young director used the Nine Inch Nails song "Closer" over the incredible opening credits of his sophomore feature effort, Se7en. There doesn't seem to be any mention if Ross will be joining Reznor's efforts for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, but one can assume that he will. Why break up such an awesome duo?
