Tomorrow I'll be seeing the dark comedy Don McKay and barely an hour later, chatting with director Jake Goldberger and stars Thomas Haden Church, Elisabeth Shue and Melissa Leo. But last night I caught up with them early on the red carpet, asking Goldberger about the guts it took to make his first movie inspired by the Coen Brothers, Shue about taking roles in two comedies in a row (the other being Hamlet 2, of course), and Thomas Haden Church about his decision to produce the movie.
