Tribeca Video Interview: Don McKay Director And Cast![]()
There were plenty of murders and mysteries among the selections at this year's Tribeca Film Festival, but none of them came with quite the same amount of humor as Don McKay. Featuring stellar performances from Thomas Haden Church, Melissa Leo and Elisabeth Shue, Don McKay is Jake Goldberger's directorial debut, a black comedy about a guy who returns to his hometown and his high school sweetheart, only to find out that pretty much nothing in her world is as it seems.
I interviewed Goldberger and his cast during the festival, and we talked about the challenges of working in pretty confined conditions, every day, all together, as well as Shue and Leo's excitement at getting to play the great female characters in the film. Watch it all unfold in the interview below. |
