Ron Howard may be about to follow up his controversial movie The Da Vinci Code with a film about America's most controversial president, Richard Nixon.
TMZ says that Ron may adapt the hit Peter Morgan stage play "Frost/Nixon" into a feature film. What makes it different from all the other Dick Nixon pics we've been deluged with is that this one takes place after his resignation as President. The play zeroes in on a series of interviews that took place between Richard M. and interviewer David Frost in 1977.
The play only opened a month ago, but that's all it's taken to impress audiences. It's gotten big time reviews, and apparently it's also impressed Ron. Word is that while it's not a yet done deal, it could become very soon.
