Tron 2 Plot Details Leaked Online

Tron 2 Plot Details Leaked Online Disney is still being incredibly, frustratingly quiet with their details about Tron 2, or TR2N, or whatever it is we're calling it. But AICN seems to have gotten the scoop from a source on the Vancouver set, and is reporting a full list of plot details from the new film.

SPOILERS BELOW, obviously, as AICN's source saw no problem in revealing the entire story. And the first thing they point out is that Tron 2 or TR2N will definitely not be the title-- probably something more along the lines of Tron: Revenge of the Fallen or Tron: Salvation, you get the idea.

OK, as for the plot. The new film opens in 1989, where Kevin Flynn (Bridges) has become successful by basing games on his experiences in the Game Grid in the first film. Then he suddenly disappears, leaving behind his son, Sean, who we meet up with again 20 years later. Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner) encourages Sean to track down his father, which of course leads him into the same computer world. There Flynn's CLU character from the first film has gone bad, which explains how Jeff Bridges is the villain this time around. And, you know, Sean has to save the day in the end.

The AICN has lots more details, so head over there to see them all. The plot sounds like pretty much exactly what we've been expecting, but that doesn't make it sound any less exciting. Can't wait to see some actual footage that gives an idea of how this computer world has been updated for the new film.
