MTV News has declared the third day of every week to be Twilight Tuesday from now on, which might indicate the frenzy over this teen vampire romance might be getting a little out of hand. This movie comes out in December, and is already inciting the kind of slavish fan devotion that I previously thought only possible for movies starring Batman and hobbits.But the fans will love the news MTV is bringing them today. Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, two stars of Twilight who are not Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson, will reunite in another movie that sounds a good bit different from the toothy one. Strife is described as ”the story of three friends struggling with day-to-day life in the drug- and gang-infested streets of Los Angeles. Caught in a world of violence and tragedy, they struggle to discover the hope and love that can help them persevere.” If only a handsome vampire could come save them now! Greene and Lutz seem poised to benefit greatly from the insane hype surrounding their upcoming movie, so good on them for cashing in on it early. Don’t let the two leads steal all your thunder, kids!
