The newest addition to the cast of Twilight is, predictably, a hot young girl. E! says that Canadian actress Kirsten Prout is joining the cast of The Twilight Saga Eclipse to play the vampire Lucy. Lucy works with another vampire named Maria (being played by Catalina Sandino Moreno) to build a vampire army. And now I’m going to tell you that she’s eventually killed because, even though it’s technically a spoiler, the only people who might care have already read it in the book.

Kirsten has been working in genre film and television since the age of 8. She’s done everything from Stargate: SG-1 to Elektra. More recently she’s spent a lot of time as a regular on the ABC Family series Kyle XY. Now she’s 19 and ready to be ogled by, er, Twilight Moms.
