I wasn’t there for the Twilight portion of Comic-Con this year, but I heard the horror stories. The screaming, the long lines, the shirtless 12-year-old actors. It sounded like, well, Comic-Con for 13-year-old girls to be honest. But that’s another debate entirely. Now imagine if that three or four hour portion of the Con lasted for the length of an entire convention.
THR is reporting that Summit has teamed up with Creation Entertainment to plan several Twilight fan conventions. Like the session at Comic-Con this year, the conventions will include exclusive footage and panels with the actors and actresses as well as autograph sessions and parties. Did you hear that, Twilight Moms? Party! The cons will take place all across the country in big cities like Chicago and Los Angeles. The first stop will be in New Jersey on August 28.
Summit, obviously, knows exactly what Twilight fans wants. Anything Twilight. At this point, I’m sure they’d even go for Twilight fast food joint. Bella Burger anyone?
